The American Culinary Federation and the Chicago Chef of Cuisine honors the Professional Chef or Cook for their dedication and determination that is required to become certified. Certification provides recognition of your accomplishments.

Re-Certification
Chefs refresh their skills every five years in order to maintain their certification level. ACT certification assures that Chefs have the necessary capabilities to perform in their particular field. You must complete a thirty hour course in each of the following areas:

  • Supervision
  • Nutrition Sanitation
  • Scholarships

The American Culinary Federation, and Chicago Chefs Association offers to its Members a chance to attain more knowledge through:

  • Membership
  • Monthly Meeting
  • Seminars

  • Allied Member $220.00 
  • Student Culinarian (over 18) $90.00 
  • Junior Culinarian (under 18) $ 75.00
